Who we are
Sponsorbloom ("we", "us") is a market-intelligence service that shows which brands sponsor YouTube creators. Sponsorbloom is operated by StagReach, Glasgow, United Kingdom, which is the data controller for the personal information described here. Contact: [email protected].
Use of YouTube API Services
Sponsorbloom uses YouTube API Services. By using Sponsorbloom you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube data is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
What we collect
- Public YouTube data retrieved through the YouTube API: channel names, handles, subscriber counts, video titles, publish dates, view counts, the paid-promotion label, and description lines that relate to sponsorships. We do not store full descriptions, comments, or any private or non-public data.
- Account data you give us: your email address, your name if you sign in with Google, your plan and credit usage, and billing details (processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see your full card number).
- Basic usage data such as pages visited, to keep the service working and secure.
What we do not do
If you choose "Sign in with Google", we receive only your name, email address and profile picture to create your account. We never request access to your YouTube channel or any private YouTube data, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use data
To detect and display brand sponsorships, estimate sponsorship value ranges, operate your account, send product updates you asked for, and improve the service.
Storage and refresh
Data obtained from YouTube API Services is refreshed at least every 30 days. Data for videos or channels that are no longer available through the API is deleted at the next refresh.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Sponsorbloom (hosting, email, payments), under contract, or when required by law.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or remove you from the waitlist, by emailing [email protected]. Creators can ask us to remove their channel's data from Sponsorbloom at the same address. You can also revoke Sponsorbloom's access to data via the Google security settings page, although Sponsorbloom only uses Google to sign you in and never requests access to your YouTube data.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
